1. How do I deposit into my account?
Clients can choose to deposit funds through the following methods:
|a)||Cheque Deposit or mail to 15/F China Building,

All cheques should be crossed and made payable to UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Limited. Clients are requested to indicate their account number and name on the reverse side of the cheque. For cheque deposits, trading limit can only be increased when the cheque is cleared, which is two days from the cheque deposit day.
Wire transfer or direct deposit is acceptable to the following accounts:
Clients are requested to Fax their pay-in slip to our Account Department (Receipt and Payment) at (852) 8208 7388 OR Whatsapp to our Customer Service Department at (852) 6603 0308 with their account name and account number written. Trading limit will be increased by the deposit amount on next trading day.
By [Bill Payment] recorded, the funds will be automatically credited into account the next working day, no fax bank deposit receipt, fast and convenient.
2. When do I receive my sell proceeds and when is money deducted from my account?
For all transactions, settlement day is two days after trade day (T+2). For sell transactions, sell proceeds is only available for withdrawal on or after settlement day. For buy transactions, although trade amount is immediately deducted from available trading balance, the actual money is only deducted from the account on settlement day.
3. Can I trade immediately if I deposit a cheque?
No, the limit will only be updated after the cheque has been verified. The Credit Department will update the client's account balance and notify him/ her as soon as possible.
4. How do I request for withdrawal of my stock holdings from UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong)?
Client needs to complete the Stock Withdrawal Form and post or fax the form to Settlement Department. The fax number is (852) 2104 7199.
5. How do I request for withdrawal of my cash?
Client needs to complete the Fund Withdrawal Form and send the completed form to our office. Alternatively, client can contact their Account Executive to inform our Account Department (Receipt and Payment) to transfer the cash to their bank account.
6. Will I be able to amalgamate my trades into one contract?
Trades done through UTRADE Online Trading Platform will automatically be amalgamated, provided the following conditions are met:
Trades must be done on the same day.
Trades must be of the same stock.
7. What is the settlement period for US stocks?
The settlement period is trade date plus three US business days. (T+3)
8. I have traded the same US stocks more than once on the same day. Will it be consolidated?
No, each fully executed US stocks order will not be consolidated and commissions are calculated separately.
