Hiroyuki Chida is the Chief Marketing Executive of Daiwa Asset Management’s International Business and has over 35 years of experience in the asset management industry. Since joining Daiwa Asset Management in 1990, he spent close to 20 years as a Fund Manager and Research Analyst covering Asian equities. From 2008 to 2016 he managed the Hong Kong and Singapore offices across fund management, product development and trading. In 2019, he was appointed as the first President of Global X Japan (which specializes in ETF’s), a joint venture between Global X based in the US and Daiwa Securities. In 2021 he became the Co-Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Global and Asian ex Japan equities.
